Coming August 2026

The Outdoors.

Hikes worth the drive. Lakes worth the swim.
Where to go when Cedar City gets too hot.

Cedar City sits at 5,800 feet, 45 minutes from cooler mountains, alpine lakes, and one of the best-kept national monuments in the country. This is where I show you the spots locals actually use.

A Preview

What's coming first.

Three places that'll be in the first edition. More to come.

01.

Closest Escape

Cedar Breaks National Monument

22 miles up the canyon. 10,300 feet of elevation. Drops you 25 degrees instantly. The kind of place that makes you question why you ever stayed at sea level.

Drive Time · 30 min

02.

Best Lake Day

Navajo Lake

8,400 feet up Highway 14. Cold, clear, and quiet enough to hear yourself think. Kayaks, fishing, sunsets, and the kind of pine smell that doesn't come in a candle.

Drive Time · 45 min

03.

Underrated Move

Brian Head (in summer)

Yes, the ski town. In summer it becomes mountain biking heaven with chair lift access. You don't have to ride. The 65°F afternoons earn the drive on their own.

Drive Time · 35 min

Each place will get its own full breakdown when the first Outdoors edition drops. Photos, trail maps, what to bring, what to skip.
